The Pacific Science Center will present two programs at Yakima Valley Museum on Saturday, July 31.

The first program, “Harvesting Science,” will start at 10:00 a.m. and be available for viewing in the Great Hall all day. The program offers bilingual hands-on exhibits to reveal how science and agriculture go together.  Learn the difference between a good bug and a pest, and what kind of soil grows the biggest crops.

The second program, “The Super Cool Science Show,” will be presented at 11:00 a.m. on the Noel Family stage outside the museum. The 40-minute show will be all about “super cool matter.” Explore how gases become liquids and liquids become solids, and see the Inter-Planetary Olympics.

Both programs are free to the public and are sponsored by Washington’s Guaranteed Education Tuition (GET) Program.

For more information, contact Kathy Sample at 248-0747.
